Hard bop 'n' Blues
Tuesday 6:00pm-7:00pm (Replay Saturday 6pm-7pm) Join Bruce on a journey into the intrigues of the Hard Bop subgenre and its respectful return to R&B, soul, gospel, and blues. At a time when jazz music was weaving its way through the american beat subculture and competing with rock 'n' roll, some sparkling gems were cut in smokey studios and late-night jam sessions by some of the most brilliant artists and characters in music.
