freocast was founded by Fremantle architect and long serving community radio broadcaster Nick Juniper.
We are an independent not-for-profit community radio station. Created and run by a group of dedicated volunteers, and managed by not for profit association Fremantle Broadcasting Inc. freocast commenced live broadcasting in Walyalup from our cute shipping container studio on South Terrace in the heart of South Fremantle, on 6pm, Friday 14th June 2023, Our vision is to create a connected and diverse community through radio. Management Committee
freocast is managed by a skilled and dedicated management committee. Current committee members are:
Nick Juniper (Chair/Treasurer) - you can catch Nick presenting Homeward Sound on Wednesdays, 4pm-6pm
Sarah Davis (Secretary) - Sarah IS South Fremantle! Well connected and across everything going down in town.
Nina Juniper (Ordinary Member) - Nina is a local artist, printmaker and the freocast social media maven.
Lee Martin (Ordinary Member) - Lee knows all there is to know about local music and what's on. Check out The Local, Saturdays 12-2pm
Honi Graf (Ordinary Member) - Honi gets the weekend started with Freo Spirit, Saturday mornings 7am
Denny Baptist (Ordinary Member) - so smooth and groovy! Check out Denny's Cafe fortnightly Fridays 5pm-7pm
Alex Sinclair (Ordinary Member) - Back from the UK with tons of radio/music experience, Alex has formed The Brutal Waves Collective, Thursdays 7pm-8pm
Damo Sutton (Ordinary Member) - Damo has sound experience in bucket loads and presents Through The Scrub, Sundays 4pm-6pm
