The face behind the idea. My name is Nick - I love Fremantle and I love music. I've been involved with community radio since 2017 - first with RTR and most recently as the host of The Midnight Ramble at Radio Fremantle. You can check out my wide tastes in music over on my Mixcloud page. I am passionate about freocast - and excited to create something new in Fremantle. A new sound in town, with fresh and diverse voices and excellent music….did I mention I am a huge Prince fan - you can expect the deepest of deep Prince cuts on my show. Stay tuned!
We are registered! Fremantle Broadcasting Inc is now a registered not-for-profit Incorporated Association. It sounds boring, but it’s important. Ultimately we will look to grant funding for support to build the station and keep it on air, and being an Inc. Assoc. demonstrates that we are serious. It comes with responsibility, and an active and engaged membership to keep the station strong. If you are keen to get involved, we would love to hear from you. Become a member, and help us build something great - and eventually there will be stickers!
freocast broadcasts from Walyalup, on Noongar Whadjuk Boodja. We acknowledge the traditional owners of this place, land that was never ceded. We pay our respects to the traditional owners, elders and their families. "Always was and always will be"
